She did the flowers for my wedding. She was very kind and it seemed like she understood my vision, however I had no preview of what my flowers would look like, it was difficult to get responses from her in a timely manner, and when my flowers arrived on my wedding day, they were nothing like what we had discussed. The colors were all wrong and the vision was absolutely NOTHING like what I had shown her. It was as if she had messed up and brought someone else’s flowers. They were beautiful, just not what we had discussed at all. I was extremely disappointed and to be honest it was my one regret on my wedding day. I unfortunately regret choosing her for my wedding florals…

There are not enough adjectives to describe the perfection of our day at Wimbee Creek - exquisite, inspiring, stunningly beautiful, informative, - just sheer magnificence! Maria and Gary have done an incredible job and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. This place will stay in my mind for a long long time.

Had to complete pleasure of visiting Wimbee Farms with my girlfriends, 8 of us in all, this past Saturday. What an incredible day of seeing the farm, creating our own wreathes from her vast array of fresh and dried flowers and greenery, coffee and coffee cake when we arrived, and an amazing lunch overlooking the marsh. Maria's talent and hospitality are top-notch! It was a relaxing, refreshing day away from the world. What a treat!

Maria did an AMAZING job with the flowers for my wedding. She met me at the church and reception venue to go over decoration plans, which was so helpful. My bouquet was gorgeous, and so unique from the typical arrangement. She helped plan the decorations so I could reuse some of the church florals at the reception, which was really helpful for our budget. The venue (Venue 1223) looked BEAUTIFUL with the way she decorated it. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with Maria for such an important event in my life, she couldn’t have done a more perfect job.

In the fall of 2018 I attended a wreath making workshop with a large group (18) of women from Beaufort. It was fantastic! Provided with everything needed from nature, we were shown and coached how to make our own wreaths. Maria gave us the background on how and why she and her husband Gary bought the farm and decided to grow flowers. The lunch table setting is next to the creek and is absolutely magical. The catered lunch of all natural, organic food was sooooo good. We all talked about it for days. Then, this week, we attended a floral arrangement workshop. I characterize these two visits to Wimbee Creek Farm in the top three best adventures in the Lowcountry. It is one of those experiences that stays with you for a long time. Maybe forever!
